BOARD TECHNOLOGY – LTB SNOWBOARDS

We have been developing and manufacturing snowboards and snowboard technology since 1986

The main advantage of our manufacturing technology is precise handcrafting

  • wet lamination
  • balanced adhesive application, enabling low weight combined with high strength
  • precise placement of fibres and strips of glass and composites in all layers
  • sidewall sandwich construction with a wooden core and plastic sides
  • layered, multi-directional glass fibres/biaxial, triaxial, quadraxial,
  • multi-axial composite fibres: CARBON, ARAMID (Kevlar) / used in the reinforcement of glass fibre structures as well as in all-composite constructions. Carbon-aramid (Kevlar) composite materials offer higher performance and lower weight compared to glass fibres.
  • Edges: L-profile 48 Rockwell on exclusive models; L-profile stainless steel

 

Wood core

  • All-wood cores are constructed from various types of wood and profiles. We use poplar, abachi and ash; the choice of wood influences the stiffness of the snowboard’s construction and the resulting riding characteristics.

Upper materials

Base: extruded, sintered, graphite

  • can be printed on and cut using several technologies: digital printing, screen printing and laser cutting.

We design the graphics with the required end result of the product in mind.

We develop shapes and product categories each season and offer new designs based on the current needs and trends among riders. Our technology enables us to develop and manufacture a new shape within two weeks for testing.

We can offer custom production from a single piece up to a series of ten. Custom production and development of shapes. Even the production of a single snowboard is possible, if the very high costs involved are accepted. An exclusive product at an exclusive price.

We can offer our customers everything from graphic design and preparation of designs right through to the final packaging of the snowboards.
