A splitboard is a snowboard with specific characteristics in two positions. In the first position, the snowboard is split into two parts, allowing you to ascend the slope with characteristics similar to those of ski touring skis with skins; in the second position, both halves of the snowboard are joined together for the descent down the slope. Switching from one position to the other is very easy and reliable thanks to the Voile system, even in very adverse conditions. It does not tend to freeze in extreme conditions and has therefore enjoyed a very good reputation amongst users for a long time.
