Backcountry All-Round Splitboard: An easy-to-handle CAMBER splitboard design with quick edge-to-edge transitions; it remains stable on harder snow. It rides more easily in deeper snow, and your back leg won’t tire as quickly. Kevlar and carbon reinforcements ensure a stable ride even in challenging terrain. The features of this product appeal not only to traditional snowboarders, but also to ski mountaineers and mountain climbers. The LTB splitboard models cater to new customers, enabling them to discover a whole new dimension of the mountains. A splitboard is a snowboard with specific characteristics in two positions. In the first position, the snowboard is split into two parts, allowing you to ascend the slope with characteristics similar to those of ski touring skis with skins; in the second, both halves of the snowboard are joined together for the descent down the slope. Switching from one position to the other is very easy and reliable thanks to the Voile system, even in very adverse conditions. It does not tend to freeze in extreme conditions and has therefore enjoyed a very good reputation amongst users for a long time.
